Participation is free and open to everybody.
Our 2024 Global Game Jam will be in-person with the option to participate virtually.
To attend the Jam you need to be 18 years of age or older. If you are 16-18, you may join with permission from your guardian. Younger participants need to be accompanied by their guardians.
The in-person event will start on Friday, January 26th, 5pm, at Carleton University. Virtual participants can join through our Discord server. Detailed instructions will be provided to the Jammers
The theme will be publicly announced by GlobalGameJam.org on Jan 22nd. But we encourage everyone to start the main development activities on Friday after our opening social event.
